Cheri's Sausage Corn Chowder

1 lb bulk sausage
1 c. chopped onion
4 c. peeled potatoes, cut into cubes
2 c. water
salt & pepper to taste
17 oz cream corn
17 oz whole kernel corn, drained
12 oz can evaporated milk
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
Cook sausage until brown with onion, drain. Put sausage and onion in pot, add water, potatoes, salt & pepper, and cook until potatoes are about done. add corn, canned milk, simmer 10 minutes. Add cheese. Heat until melted.
I got the recipe out of a church cookbook in PA. I add a few shakes of celery salt because I like it, and when I serve I add a sprinkle of cayenne for just a bit of heat.
