    Tippy's CARROT BARS

    List of Ingredients




    4 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 cups oil
    2 cups sugar
    4 jars carrot baby food
    2 1/2 cups flour

    FROSTING
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 cup margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Beat together eggs, soda, salt, cinnamon and oil. Add sugar and carrots. Add flour. Mix well.

    Use a large sheet pan, like a jelly roll with sides. Grease and flour the pan. Pour and spread batter in pan and bake 30 minutes at 350ºF.

    Watch towards the end and test with the 'touch test'.

    Frost when cool.


    Frosting: Mix all together. Spread on cooled bars and if desired sprinkle top with chopped walnuts.
