List of Ingredients




•1 pound farfalle pasta, cooked and drained
•8 strips bacon
•2 tablespoons sugar
•2 tablespoons flour
•4 tablespoons each fresh parsley, lovage, and chive
•1/2 teaspoon ground mustard powder
•1 cup water
•1/2 cup cider vinegar
•1 cup each red onion, celery & bell pepper, finely diced
•1/2 teaspoon salt
•Freshly ground pepper
•1/2 cup Parmesan cheese


Recipe



1. Cook pasta, drain and set aside in large bowl.
2. Cook bacon until crisp, crumble and set aside.
3. Stir sugar, flour, mustard and salt into bacon grease.
4. Add water and vinegar and cook, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.
5. Pour over drained pasta in bowl and stir in herbs, onion, bell pepper and celery.
6. Stir in crumbled bacon and cheese.
7. Season with freshly ground pepper.
