    Weight Watchers "In Good Time"

    List of Ingredients




    1 (4 pound) beef brisket
    1 large onion, sliced and separated into rings
    3/4 t pepper
    3 T flour
    3 T brown sugar
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    3/4 cup beer
    1/2 cup chili sauce

    Recipe



    Time fat from brisket; cut brisket in half. Place onion rings in a 4 quart slow cooker. Sprinkle pepper evenly over brisket halves. Place brisket halves over onion rings in slow cooker. Place flour, brown sugar, and garlic in a small bowl; gradually add beer and chili sauce, stirring until well blended. Pour flour mixture over brisket.

    Cover with lid; cook on high-heat setting 1 hour. Reduce to low-heat setting, and cook 6 to 8 hours or until tender. slice brisket, and serve with sauce.

    Yield 12 servings (serving size 3 ounces brisket and about 6 Tablespoons of sauce).
