EASY APPLE DUMPLINGS

5 tart apples, halved, cored and peeled
2/3 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1 (10 oz) can Hungry Jack Refrigerator Big Flaky Biscuits
3 T. margarine
2 T. water
Recipe
Blend sugar and cinnamon. Roll apple half in cinnamon mixture. Seperate biscuits. Press or roll each biscuit into 4 & 1/2" circle. Place apple (rounded side down) on center of each biscuit. Stretch dough around apple, completely covering it. Dip in melted butter, then in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Place seam side down in ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over prepared biscuits. Add water to baking sheet. Bake 350ºF for 20-25 minutes and golden brown. Yields 10 servings.
Notes: I sometimes have to double the amount of cinnamon & sugar depending on the size of the apples. These are great served warm with vanilla ice cream.
