Sour Cream Cherry Cobbler

List of Ingredients
Batter Ingredients:
1-2/3 cups all-purpose baking mix (ie: Bisquick or Jiffy)
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup sour cream (regular, light, or fat-free)
1/3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Filling Ingredients:
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
Topping Ingredients:
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon sugar Recipe
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 9-inch square pan with no-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
Combine all batter ingredients except cherry pie filling in medium bowl. Stir together until smooth. Spread in pan; spoon pie filling evenly over batter. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden.
Meanwhile, combine almonds and 1 tablespoon sugar in small bowl; sprinkle over cobbler. Continue baking 10 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
