Mom's Baked Pineapple (T&T)

Recipe Introduction
This is different than most Baked Pineapple recipes and Mom always took it to her Stitchery Guild luncheons (they wouldn't let her bring anything else!!) and came home with a scraped-out dish!!
List of Ingredients
1 (20 oz) can chunk pineapple, drained, reserving the juice
1 dozen large marshmellows, quartered (or equal in mini marshmellows)
8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
2 T. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Recipe
In a double boiler, cook the sugar, flour, egg and juice of the pineapple until thick. Let cool.
In a buttered 9 x 13" baking dish, layer pineapple, marchmallows and cream cheese pieces. Pour cooled sauce mixture over and top with grated sharp cheddar cheese.
Bake in a 450ºF oven for 10 mins. or until cheese is bubbly.
