    2 C. water
    1/4 C. household ammonia
    1/4 tsp. shampoo or liquid detergent

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients in a bowl or jar. Set comb or brush in the liquid and allow to soak for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Remove from the liquid and clean the brush by scraping with a comb (and vice versa). Rinse with warm water, and allow to dry before using.
