    HAND SANITIZER

    Source of Recipe

    internet

    Recipe Introduction

If you're like 64% of Americans, you're spending extra for those popular instant hand sanitizers. "But what most people don't realize is that the germ-killing ingredients in most brands, such as Purell, is plain old alcohol," says home economist Denise Lippman, M.S.--and the formula is cheap and easy to whip up at home using inexpensive products you can buy at your local drugstore!

    List of Ingredients

1 cup 100% aloe vera gel
    1 tsp. rubbing alcohol
    2 tsp. glycerin
6 to 8 drops eucalyptus or tea tree essential oil

    Recipe

Blend well. Store in a clean jar or squeeze bottle, and use as you would over-the-counter hand santizer.
