    1 lb. pork sausage
    1/3 cup regular flour
    1 quart of whole milk (I have also used half and half, bad doris, bad doris)*
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Pillsbury Grands biscuits - baked

    Recipe



    Cook sausage in skillet, breaking up pieces. Drain fat. Actually, I should drain it all, but I leave a little bit in the skillet. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and blend well. Allow to brown for a few minutes. Slowly add the milk (or cream) and stir in completely. Cook over medium heat until the mixture is thickened. Add more milk if too thick. Add salt and pepper if needed. Serve over Biscuits.

    Start on Cholesterol medicine the next day. lol

    Variation: Use this recipe but add homemade tomato juice instead of milk for Tomato Sasauge Gravy.


    *My note: Land o' Lakes has Fat Free half and half that is wonderful!!
