16 ounce thin spaghetti, broken into thirds
1 bunch fresh broccoli, cut in 1 inch pieces
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 stick butter or margarine
Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Salt and pepper to tasteRecipe
Cook spaghetti in 4 quarts of boiling water with 2 teaspoons of salt for 2 minutes. Add broccoli and cook 8 minutes, just until broccoli is tender.Drain and pour into a large serving dish. Cook garlic in butter just until it begins to brown. Pour over the spaghetti mixture and sprinkle generously with the Parmesan cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Toss lightly to mix. Serve immediately.
