Noodles with Browned Butter and Toasted Almonds

3 cups uncooked egg noodles
2 Tbsp butter (no margarine)
3 Tbsp slivered almonds
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Recipe
Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain, return to pan. Cover and keep warm.
Meanwhile in saucepan cook butter and almonds over medium heat for 5-8 minutes or until light golden brown, stirring frequently. Pour browned butter and almonds over cooked noodles and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley. Toss to combine.
Makes 6 (1/2 Cup) Servings
