    Frosting In The Pie

    Source of Recipe

    internet

    List of Ingredients

1 (9 inch) graham cracker crust
    8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 tub coconut and pecan frosting
    8 oz. cool whip

Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add frosting, beat, then add the cool whip. Pour into pie shell and refrigerate.

    Recipe

Notes: I used 8" pie shells so the recipe made 2 pies. They are in the refrigerator right now. They look sooo good, I can hardly wait to taste them.

Carolyn added that she drizzled caramel topping over the top and sprinkled with toasted chopped pecans. Also added that any frosting probably could be used, just like in the "Frosting in the Cake Recipe".

I used a hershey chocolate Graham Cracker Crust and Milk chocolate frosting.

I bet this would be good with the cream cheese, tub vanilla frosting, cool whip and 1/2 cup peanut butter mixed in.

Another idea for Christmas: You could do it with vanilla frosting and then add some crushed up peppermints and maybe a 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract.

I used a can of Betty Crocker whipped cream cheese frosting, a tub of French Vanilla Cool Whip and a tub of the spreadable Kraft cheesecake flavored cream cheese spread. It was yummy, tastes like cheese danish filling or cheesecake but was light and fluffy like a mousse.

I made it with White Chocolate Almond.

Whipped Lemon Frosting and I used a premade vanilla wafer crust.I added the grated zest of one lemon to the coolwhip/frosting/creamcheese mixture. I saved a little of the frosting, nuked it, and drizzled it over the pie.
