I've had this cold and it was very good.
List of Ingredients
5 - 6 medium potatoes, cubed
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1 jar real bacon bits
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 - 3 green onions, chopped
Recipe
Boil potatoes until done. Drain. Allow to cool completely.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the cream cheese and sour cream, most of the bacon bits, cheddar cheese and green onions. The reserved is for garnish.
Add potatoes. Mix thoroughly. Move to a serving bowl and garnish.
May serve cold or hot.
