1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 pkg. beef or chicken sandwich steaks
1 can of condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 (4 1/2-oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
4 pita breads, cut in half Recipe
In medium skillet over medium high heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook until tender. Add sandwich steaks and cook for 5 mins or until browned, stirring often.
Pour off fat. Add soup and mushrooms. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low and heat through.
Spoon meat mixture into pita halves and serve.
