    1-1/2 pounds jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined
    ½ cup of Canola oil
    1 small garlic clove, minced
    1/2 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar



    Recipe



    Skewers (if using wood, be sure to soak in water prior to use) Skewers are optional you can just place the large shrimp directly on grill plate.

    Peel and de-vein shrimp. Place in a bowl and add remaining ingredients, gently toss to cover all shrimp with the marinade. Cover and place in the refrigerator for ½ hour.

    Put several shrimp on skewer and barbecue on the grill (or broil carefully).

    As a variation, alternate shrimp with marinated scallops and/or vegetables.

    Serve on a bed of rice or pasta and a salad of baby greens.
