    Praline Pecan Crunch

    List of Ingredients

    8 cups Quaker Oat Squares® cereal
    1/4 cup butter
    1/2 cup pecan pieces
    1 t. vanilla
    1/2 cup corn syrup
    1/2 t. baking soda
    1/2 cup brown sugar -- packed


    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 250°F.

    Combine Quaker Oat Squares® cereal and pecans in a 9" x 13" baking pan.

    Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and butter in a saucepan. Heat mixture until it boils; remove from heat.

    Carefully stir in vanilla and baking soda (it will bubble up).

    Pour over cereal mixture, stir to coat.

    Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.

    Remove from oven and spread on baking sheet to cool. Break into pieces.

    Yield: Approximately 8 cups.
