8 cans creamed corn
2 lb. bacon
2 large onions, diced
6 - 8 potatoes
3 qts. Half & Half
Salt & Pepper to tasteRecipe
Dice bacon (works best if partially frozen) and cook in dutch oven. Drain bacon on paper towel and set aside. Cook onions in bacon grease and remove from pan with slotted spoon. Peel and dice potatoes and put in pan and coat in bacon grease. Drain excess grease from pan and add rest of ingredients. Simmer until potatoes are cooked (You can precook potatoes in microwave and add to pan for shorter cooking time). Make sure to stir often while simmering, as milk tends to stick and scorch. Salt and pepper to taste.
