    3 medium onions
    4 Tbs butter
    8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, divided
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    5 Tbs grated Parmesan cheese
    5 oz can evaporated milk
    2 tsp soy sauce
    6 slices French bread, cubed
    1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

    Recipe



    Slice the onions crosswise then cut each slice in half. Melt butter in skillet & cook mushrooms and onions until tender. Spoon mixture into greased baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup Swiss cheese. Combine soup, evaporated milk, Parmesan cheese and soy sauce. Pour mixture over the cheese. Top with the bread cubes and remaining Swiss cheese. Sprinkle with parsley. Cover and chill 4-8 hours.

    Let stand at room temp 30 mins before baking (covered) in a 350ºF oven for 30 mins. Uncover bake for and additional 15-20 mins. Let stand 5 min before serving.
