    I made this recipe last year for DH's birthday party. We had all kinds of grilled goodies on skewers. I followed this recipe, then threw in a ziplok bag and refrigerated until I was ready to cook. I then threaded them on presoaked wooden skewers and lightly grilled until warmed through.

    You can also follow recipe and let shrooms marinade in fridge for a day and serve cold.

    List of Ingredients




    2 lbs. fresh whole mushrooms
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1/3 cup olive oil
    2/3 cup white wine vinegar
    1/3 cup red wine
    2 Tbs honey
    2 Tbs soy sauce
    1 Tbs salt
    1 tsp black pepper

    Recipe



    Saute the garlic in the oil, then add in all ingredients except mushrooms. Cook and stir until well blended. Place mushrooms in a heat proof container and pour hot mixture over, tossing to evenly coat. Let cool, cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours so flavors can blend.
