    Our Favorite Mushrooms (T&T)

    Recipe Introduction

    Paula says this recipe serves her husband. When she made it for us, she doubled the recipe! It is very good...you might want to double it, too!!

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. whole mushrooms
    2 T. butter
    2 beef broth packages (dry) *
    1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 stick butter
    2 T. flour
    1/2 c. cream
    1/8 t. salt
    1/2 c. breadcrumbs
    1 c. Parmesan cheese

    Recipe

    Saute mushrooms in 2 T. butter. (I add a little bit of garlic powder now.)

    Dissolve beef broth in hot water.

    Melt 1/2 stick butter and blend in flour. Add cream, salt, broth and let this cook until mixture has thickened.

    Pour mushrooms and sauce into a greased baking dish (2 qt). Top with cheese and bread crumbs.

    Bake for 30 mins. at 350ºF.

    Serves 6 - 8. See above!!

    *I use broth packages instead of bouillon because bouillon is too salty.
