List of Ingredients
Mix thoroughly:
1 lb. ground beef or veal, 1/2 lb. ground lean pork or use
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3 med. slices soft bread, torn in pieces, and 1 cup milk or
1 cup dry bread crumbs and 1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. minced onion
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. each pepper, dry mustard, celery salt, and garlic
salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauceRecipe
For better browning, shape into loaf on shallow baking pan. Bake until done. Serve hot or cold. For Catsup-topped Loaf, spread 3 tbsp. catsup on top before baking.
Temperature: 350 degrees (mod. oven)
Time: Bake 1 1/2 hours
