    BEET JUICE FOR CANNING BEETS

    List of Ingredients

    4 1/2 C. SUGAR
    1 1/2 C. WATER
    1 TSP. SALT
    1 1/2 TSP. EACH WHOLE CLOVES & CINNAMON
    3 1/2 C. VINEGAR
    DASH OF NUTMEG

    Recipe

    BOIL ON LOW TO MEDIUM HEAT FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES, THEN POUR IN JARS OVER CUT UP, COOKED BEETS. PUT CINNAMON STICKS IN JARS WITH BEETS.
