1/2 C. SWEET BUTTER, SOFTENED
2 LARGE EGG YOLKS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
1 TSP. VANILLA
1 C. POWDERED SUGAR
1 1/2 C. FLOUR
Recipe
CREAM SOFT BUTTER AND ADD EGG YOLKS AND VANILLA. ADD POWDERED SUGAR AND MIX WELL. GRADUALLY ADD FLOUR JUST UNTIL KNEADABLE (MAY NOT USE IT ALL). MIX DOUGH AND KNEAD UNTIL SMOOTH. ROLL AND CUT INTO CIRCLES AND DONUT SHAPES (EQUAL NUMBERS OF EACH). BAKE AT 350 DEGREES UNTIL SET, NOT BROWN. COOL. PLACE A SMALL SPOONFUL OF APRICOT PRESERVES ON CIRCLE AND PRESS TOGETHER LIGHTLY WITH DONUT SHAPE CIRCLE ON TOP.
