MIX 3 TBSP. TAPIOCA, 1/3 C. SUGAR, 1/8 TSP. SALT, 1 BEATEN EGG AND 2 3/4 C. MILK IN PAN. LET TAND 5 MINUTES. BRING TO A FULL BOIL, STIRRING CONSTANTLY. REMOVE FROM HEAT. SITR IN 3/4 TSP. VANILLA. STIR ONCE AFTER 20 MINUTES. SERVE WARM OR CHILLED.
