    Homemade Salad Dressing

    This is wonderful in potato or pasta salad. Use half homemade dressing and half Hellmans or Miracle Whip.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
    • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
    • 1 dash cayenne pepper
    • 2 eggs or Egg Beater equilavent
    • 1 cup white vinegar
    • 1/2 cup water


    Instructions


    1. Mix dry ingredients together.
    2. Add 2 beaten eggs, vinegar and water.
    3. Cook in a double boiler, over low heat, stir as thickens.
    4. Keep in refrigerator.
