i'm not much into persimmons myself, but this is good
List of Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup persimmon pulp
1/2 cup chopped nuts ( whatever kind you like)
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 well beaten egg
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon or ground cloves
1 tsp vanilla, rum or brandy flavoringRecipe
combine dry ingredients, add raisins and nuts, mix well.mix eggs and milk together, add to dry ingredients. add persimmons and melted butter, put in greased tins or oven proof custard cups, set in a pan of hot water, bake at 370 for 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs.
