3/4 c. water
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 c. cool whip, thawedRecipe
Place water in 1 cup measure; cover. Microwave at high for 2-21/2 minutes or until boiling. Add gelatin; stir to dissolve. Set aside. In small bowl combine sugar and cocoa. slowly blend in milk, stirring to dissolve sugar and cocoa. Stir in the vanilla. Blend in dissolved gelatin. Skim off any foam. Pour 1/2 cup of chocolate gelatin mixture into a small bowl, blend in cool whip. Pour remaining gelatin mixture into 8x8" baking dish. Spoon chocolate whipped topping mixture over and spread evenly with spatula. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Cut into squares.
