    2 1/3 C. flour
    3-4 med. bananas, mashed
    3/4 C. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1 2/3 C sugar
    2/3 C. shortening
    1 1/4 t. baking soda
    1 1/4 t. baking powder
    1 t. salt

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350*. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Beat all ingredients in a large mixing bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly for 30 seconds. Beat on high speed, scraping the bowl occasionally for 3 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake until toothpick inserted come out clean, about 45-50 minutes. Frost with vanilla frosting or don't frost at all.
