    Cream of Mushroom Soup

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. mushrooms
    1 C heavy cream
    1/2 C butter
    1 can(14 1/2oz) chicken broth
    3 T flour
    1/2 t salt
    freshly ground pepper

    Recipe



    Slice enough mushrooms to measure 1 cup. Chop remaining mushrooms.
    Melt butter in a 3 qt. pan over medium heat. Cook all mushrooms in butter about 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally until mushrooms are golden brown. Sprinkle with flour and salt. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Gradually stir in cream and broth heat until hot. Sprinkle with pepper. Serve. Serves 4.
