2 lbs. potatoes
3 T. flour
3 T. margarine
1/4 t. pepper
1 t. salt
2 1/2 C. milk
12 oz. shredded cheddar cheese, opt.
diced ham, opt.
Recipe
Wash and slice potatoes(do not peel). Place in a 2 qt. greased casserole dish. In a med. sauce pan melt butter remove from heat, add flour stir until well blended. Return to med. high heat, add milk, salt and pepper. Stirring with a whisk constantly until smooth and thickened. If you want to add ham or cheese do this now and let the cheese melt. Pour over potatoes and bake for 45-60 minutes.
