Chili Sausage Supper

My mother always made this on a cold wintery day. Talk about comfort um um.
List of Ingredients
1 lb bulk sausage
1 c. sour cream
1 onion chopped
1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
3/4 c. water
16 oz egg noodles
Recipe
Brown sausage and onion in pan. Drain fat. Add sour cream, tomato sauce, chili powder and water. Stir. Add egg noodles making sure noodles are covered by liquid. Simmer until noodles are tender. Add more water as needed making sure noodles stay covered with liquid. Serve with warm bread and salad.
