    Thyme Augratin Potato Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 sm. to med size potatoes
    • 1 can cream soup
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 c. sour cream
    • 1 tsp. thyme
    • 1 c. shredded cheddar
    • 1 bag crushed croutons


    Instructions


    1. Peel and dice potatoes. Boil potatoes until almost tender. Should still be slightly crisp.

    2. Drain. Meanwhile in 3 qt greased casserole add cream soup, sour cream, onions, thyme and 1/2 cheese.

    3. Mix. Add potatoes to this mix. Gently fold in. Cook covered at 375 degrees 30 min. In meantime crush croutons in bag. Mix croutons with rest of cheese. After 30 min baking remove cover off casserole. Sprinkle with crouton mix. Cook 15 min. more uncovered.

    4. If you don't want to have croutons on top you can just add the cheese by itself. Only cook 5 min more if just cheese is on top.

    5. Note. If you like lots of cheese feel free to add more to the top or into the casserole itself. Same with the thyme.
