    List of Ingredients


    • 3 lg. chicken breasts cooked
    • 8 oz mild taco sauce
    • garlic powder
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 c. sour cream
    • 1 c. white sauce
    • 1 pkg. corn tortillas torn
    • 1 1/2 c. jack cheese
    • sliced jalapenos
    • For white sauce:
    • 2 tbsp. butter
    • 2 tbsp. flour
    • 1 c. milk warmed


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Shred chicken breast and mix with taco sauce. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper and set aside. Mix sour cream and white sauce and set aside. Place half tortillas in sprayed 9 x 13 inch pan. Add chix mix and half of sour cream mix. Sprinkle with remaining sour cream mix and sprinkle cheese. Scatter jalapenos and chili powder over top. Bake 20-30 mins.

    2. For the white sauce:

      Melt butter in skillet add flour and stir to mix well. Heat and stir several mins until paste like mix forms. Pour milk into mix stirring constantly. Reduce heat to simmer and continue to simmer continue to stir constantly 2 in.
