    Garlic and Herb Roasted Chicken

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 c. chopped onion
    • 1 1/2 c. peppers or zucchini
    • 1 roasting chicken
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 tbsp. butter melted
    • 1 tbsp. chopped parslety
    • 2 tbsp. rosemary
    • 1 clove garlic
    • chicken broth
    • 1/4 c. water
    • 2 tbsp. flour


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 325 degrees. In baking pan mix onions and veggies. Spread evenly in pan. Rinse chix inside out. Pat dry. Rub chicken cavity with salt. In bowl mix butter, parsley, rosemary and garlic. Mix well. Srpead over chix and inside cavity. Close neck cavity bring loose skin over opening with metal skewers. Place chicken on top of veggies in pan. Bake 2 1/2 hours. Remove chicken. Cover on plate 5-10 mins. Make gravy.
