    Meise Feisal (who came from Hong Kong) gave Cheryl this recipe.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 tsp garlic salt
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • dash black pepper & ground ginger
    • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef (uncooked)
    • 1 pkg won ton skins
    • vegetable oil
    • 6 oz can pineapple juice
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 3 T sugar
    • 1/4 cup catsup
    • 4 tsp cornstarch


    Instructions


    1. Mix ground beef, garlic salt, salt, pepper & ginger.
    2. Drop teaspoonful on each won ton skin, fold and seal by wetting edges.
    3. Fry in oil until brown.
    4. For dipping sauce, heat last 5 ingredients until they boil, stirring constantly.


    Final Comments


    Can substitute for filling: 1 lb. minced pork or chicken, 2 eggs, 1 cup chopped green onion, 1 tsp salt & 2 T soy sauce.
