List of Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Hersheys cocoa
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- walnuts, if desired
Instructions
- In pan on stove, mix cocoa and sugar.
- Slowly add evaporated milk, 1/2 at a time, and salt.
- Bring to a boil and cook to a soft ball stage.
- Add butter and vanilla.
- Mix in mixer on high speed until smooth.
- Cool a little and add nuts, if desired.
- Spread on buttered cookie sheet.
