    Recipe Introduction


    This recipe came from Taste of Home magazine and altered slightly. It's one of Cheryl's favorites ... easy to make ahead.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 tsp instant coffee granules
    • 1 T hot water
    • 18 cream filled Oreo cookies, made into crumbs
    • 3/4 cup chopped pecans, divided
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
    • 2 pkgs (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
    • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
    • 1/2 cup chocolate flavored syrup
    • 1 carton (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed


    Instructions


    1. In small bowl, dissolve coffee granules in hot water; set aside.
    2. In another bowl, combine cookie crumbs, 1/2 cup pecans and butter.
    3. Pat into the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch pan.
    4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
    5. Blend in coffee mixture, milk and chocolate syrup.
    6. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over crust.
    7. Sprinkle the remaining pecans on top.
    8. Freeze.


    Final Comments


    Yield: 24 servings.
