Double Dark Decadent Brownie

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup + 2 T Karo Light or Dark Corn Syrup
- 1/2 cup + 1 T butter or margarine
- 8 squares Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup unsifted flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp milk
Instructions
- Grease & flour 9 inch layer cake pan.
- In large saucepan, bring 1/2 cup corn syrup and 1/2 cup butter to a boil, stirring occasinally. Remove from heat.
- Add 5 squares chocolate; stir until melted.
- Add sugar; stir in eggs, one at at time; then vanilla, flour and nuts.
- Pour into pan.
- Bake @ 350 degrees 30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove, cool completely on rack.
- For glaze, melt 3 squares chocolate with 1 T butter over low heat, stirring often.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in 2 T corn syrup and 1 tsp milk.
- Pour on top and spread on sides of brownie.
- Let stand 1 hour.
