    This recipe is really good. It came from a magazine.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup + 2 T Karo Light or Dark Corn Syrup
    • 1/2 cup + 1 T butter or margarine
    • 8 squares Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 cup unsifted flour
    • 1 cup chopped walnuts
    • 1 tsp milk


    Instructions


    1. Grease & flour 9 inch layer cake pan.
    2. In large saucepan, bring 1/2 cup corn syrup and 1/2 cup butter to a boil, stirring occasinally. Remove from heat.
    3. Add 5 squares chocolate; stir until melted.
    4. Add sugar; stir in eggs, one at at time; then vanilla, flour and nuts.
    5. Pour into pan.
    6. Bake @ 350 degrees 30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
    7. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove, cool completely on rack.
    8. For glaze, melt 3 squares chocolate with 1 T butter over low heat, stirring often.
    9. Remove from heat.
    10. Stir in 2 T corn syrup and 1 tsp milk.
    11. Pour on top and spread on sides of brownie.
    12. Let stand 1 hour.


    Final Comments
