    Nannie used this recipe for many years. Terrific!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 tsp. baking powder
    • 1 egg
    • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
    • Peaches, sliced


    Instructions


    1. Combine first 4 ingredients. Mix with fork.
    2. Fill 8 x 8 baking dish with sliced peaches.
    3. Sprinkle mixture over top.
    4. Dot with butter; or dribble top with cream or half & half.
    5. Bake @ 350 degrees until brown.


    Final Comments


    Sprinkle peaches with sugar & cinnamon before adding topping if you want a sweeter dessert.
