Nannie is very fond of carmel and thinks about this recipe every fall.
List of Ingredients
- 1 can Eagle Brand (1 1/3 cups)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- pinch salt
- apples
- wooden sticks
Instructions
- Insert sticks into clean apples.
- Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil point, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Dip apples in carmel.
- Cool apples on waxed paper or foil.
Final Comments
You can also refrigerate carmel and use later to dip apple slices. Just warm carmel in the microwave.
