    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 cup shortening
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 2/3 cups REESE'S Peanut Butter Chips
    • 2/3 cups HERSEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips


    Instructions


    1. MELTING TIPS
      RANGE TOP: In top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water; place chips; stir constantly until melted. Remove from over water.
    2. Heat oven to 350 degree F. Stir together flour and baking soda. In large mixer bowl, beat shortening, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. BAke 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. About 5 dozen cookies.
