    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Cups sifted, all-purpose flour
    • 2 3/4 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
    • 1/2 Cup softened butter
    • 3/4 Cup white sugar
    • 2 Large eggs
    • 3 Medium bananas, mashed
    • 1 Cup walnuts


    Instructions


    1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for dark pan)
      Butter & flour 9x5 loaf pan.
    2. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon & nutmeg.
    3. Cream butter & sugar in medium-sized mixing bowl. Add eggs and mix well.
    4. Add flour and bananas alternately, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in nuts.
    5. Pour & spread into prepared pan.
    6. Bake 60-70 minutes until toothpick inserted into middle of bread comes out clean.
