Banana Nut Bread

List of Ingredients
- 2 Cups sifted, all-purpose flour
- 2 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/2 Cup softened butter
- 3/4 Cup white sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 3 Medium bananas, mashed
- 1 Cup walnuts
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for dark pan)
Butter & flour 9x5 loaf pan.
- Sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon & nutmeg.
- Cream butter & sugar in medium-sized mixing bowl. Add eggs and mix well.
- Add flour and bananas alternately, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in nuts.
- Pour & spread into prepared pan.
- Bake 60-70 minutes until toothpick inserted into middle of bread comes out clean.
