    • 4 Squares bittersweet chocolate
    • 1 Cup unsalted butter
    • 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
    • 4 Large eggs
    • 1 1/2 Cups granulated sugar
    • 2 Tbl vodka
    • 1/3 Cup coffee flavored liquer
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 1/3 Cups flour, sifted
    • 1 Cup toasted walnut pieces


    Instructions


    1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 9x13" baking pan with buttered wax paper.
    2. Melt butter and chocolate in microwave & allow to cool. Add pepper to butter mixture.
    3. Cream sugar and eggs until mixture is light and lemon colored. Pour in butter/chocolate mixture and vanilla. Mix on medium speed until combined.
    4. Add coffee flavored liquer and vodka. Mix.
    5. Sift dry ingredients and add to batter. Stir until just combined.
    6. Stir in nuts.
    7. Bake at 350 dregrees 25-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
    8. Cool on wire rack. When cool turn out of pan & remove wax paper. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
