    Smothered Slow Cooker Chicken

    List of Ingredients


    • 2.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • 12 oz sliced portabella mushrooms
    • 8 oz sliced button mushrooms
    • 1 medium onion, sliced
    • 2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    • 1 can French onion soup
    • 1 pkg Lipton Garlic & Herb dried soup
    • Seasoned pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Rinse chicken under hot, running water.
    2. Place sliced onion on bottom of a 4.5 or 5 quart slow cooker. Place sliced button mushrooms on top of onions.
    3. Place rinsed chicken breasts on top of onion & mushrooms. Add sliced portabellas on top of chicken.
    4. Sprinkle dried soup mix over chicken breasts & pour chicken & onion soup over all.
    5. Cook on high for 2 hours then trun slow cooker down to low and continue cooking for 2.5 to 3 hours or until chicken is tender and cooked through.
    6. Serve over cooked rice, noodles or mashed potatoes.
