Smothered Slow Cooker Chicken

List of Ingredients
- 2.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz sliced portabella mushrooms
- 8 oz sliced button mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 pkg Lipton Garlic & Herb dried soup
- Seasoned pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse chicken under hot, running water.
- Place sliced onion on bottom of a 4.5 or 5 quart slow cooker. Place sliced button mushrooms on top of onions.
- Place rinsed chicken breasts on top of onion & mushrooms. Add sliced portabellas on top of chicken.
- Sprinkle dried soup mix over chicken breasts & pour chicken & onion soup over all.
- Cook on high for 2 hours then trun slow cooker down to low and continue cooking for 2.5 to 3 hours or until chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Serve over cooked rice, noodles or mashed potatoes.
