Broccoli Cheese Custard

List of Ingredients
- 2 Large heads broccoli florets
- 3 Tbl butter
- 2 Tbl flour
- 1 1/2 Cup milk
- 1 Can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 Glass (5 oz) Kraft Old English cheese spread
- 3 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- Cracked pepper to taste
- Garlic-Herb seasoning to taste
- 1/2 Cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Steam broccoli for 10 minutes. Place broccoli in a buttered 9" square baking dish. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt butter in a non-stick saucepan. Add flour & stir until smooth. Allow to cook for 1 minute. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly.
- Add cream of mushroom soup and stir to smooth. Add cheese spread & stir to smooth.
- Over low heat, bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Add pepper & garlic seasoning.
- Slowly add a few spoonsful to eggs, stirring to prevent eggs from cooking. Add a little more of the hot cheese sauce to the eggs. Then, pour egg/cheese mixture into the pan with the rest of the cheese sauce.
- Over low heat, bring cheese sauce with eggs added back to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Pour sauce over the broccoli. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top.
- Place broccoli in a larger baking pan. Pour boiling water around 9" dish until it comes 1" up the sides.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
