    1 stick of butter
    1/4 cup of oil
    1 cup of water
    3 tablespoons of cocoa
    2 cups of flour
    2 cups of sugar
    1 teaspoon of baking soda
    1 teaspoon of vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup of buttermilk

    Recipe



    Instructions

    Melt butter then add to oil, water, and cocoa and bring to a boil.

    Sift flour and sugar. Pour liquid over flour and sugar, beat and add soda, vanilla, eggs, and buttermilk. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes

    For Icing:Melt 1 stick of butter, 2-1/4 tablespoons of cocoa, 6 tablespoons of milk. Add enough confectioners' sugar to slightly thicken and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Pour onto cake while cake is hot.
