    4 eggs
    1 cup sour cream
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup oil
    1 package devil's food cake mix
    1 package chocolate instant pudding
    12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
    confectioner's sugar

    Instructions

    Beat eggs, sour cream, water, and oil together in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Add cake mix and pudding mix. Beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into bundt or tube pan-Nancy uses a 9x13 pan. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven til done. When cool, sift powdered sugar on top of cake or add your favorite icing.

    Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.


    Final Comments

    For another version of this cake use 3/4 cup sour cream instead of 1 cup and add 1/4 cup mayonnaise and use 1 cup chocolate chips instead of what's listed above and add 1/2 cup toasted almonds or your favorite type of nuts.
