Chicken Wing Marinade
List of Ingredients
This will marinate about 36 chicken wings
1/2C. Hoisin Sauce (found in the speciality dept. of grocery store)
1Tbsp. Minced garlic
1Tbsp. Minced ginger
1Tbsp. Sambal (this is a hot chili sauce and you can find in the section of the grocery store that sells ethnic foods)
2Tbsp. Soya Sauce
1Tbsp. Brown sugar
1Tbsp. Oil
Blend all this together and let the wings marinate for about 2hrs or more. Bake as usual turning often.
Just a hint about Chicken wings. I find that when I coate my wings with a combination of cornstarch and flour (equal amounts of both depending on how many your making) and then bake them, turning them as they bake. They get a nice crisp coating on them. When they are done I take them out put them in a bowl and then toss them with my desired sauce. I then finish baking them for about 15-20 minutes.
Of course this means that you could not marinate them before hand but this sauce still works well.
