    Strawberry Vanilla Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups fresh / frozen straberries
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 (4 serving) box strawberry flavored gelatin
    • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
    • 1 (9 in.) pie crust baked
    • whip cream


    Instructions


    1. Combine strawberries and sugar, let stand for 10 min.
    2. Drain off liquid and measure. Add water to make 1 cup.
    3. Pour liquid into saucepan and heat to boiling and pour over gelatin. Stir until dissolved.
    4. Add ice cream and stir until melted.
    5. Add berries and mix.
    6. Pour into 9 inch baked pie crust. Chill
    7. Top with whipped cream
